About the artist

My love for makeup began long before I ever imagined turning it into a career. At just thirteen years old, I picked up my first makeup brush, and what started as a creative outlet quickly became a passion that would shape my future.

Over the years, I found myself drawn to the artistry behind makeup: the creativity, the transformation, and the ability to make someone feel beautiful in their own skin. In 2020, I took the next step in my journey and graduated from Paul Mitchell The School in Delaware, where I built a strong foundation in the beauty industry.

After gaining experience in a salon environment, I discovered that my heart truly belonged to freelance artistry. I began welcoming models into my small apartment studio, offering makeup applications simply for the opportunity to create, practice, and perfect my craft. Those early experiences taught me the value of patience, attention to detail, and the importance of making every person in my chair feel special.

While my journey hasn’t always followed a straight path, every experience has brought me back to what I love most: creating beauty and connecting with people through my artistry.

Today, I specialize in timeless, classic glamour for weddings and special occasions. My philosophy is simple: beautiful makeup should enhance who you are, never disguise it.

I believe every face tells its own story, and every makeup application should reflect the individuality of the person wearing it. Whether you’re walking down the aisle or celebrating a special moment, my goal is to create a look that feels effortlessly elegant, beautifully polished, and authentically you.

But for me, makeup has never been just about the finished look. It’s about the experience, the connection, and the confidence that comes with it. My favorite moment will always be the reveal: watching someone look in the mirror and seeing their face light up with genuine excitement. That feeling is why I do what I do.

I also believe that artistry is a lifelong education. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, and I’m continually inspired by new techniques, creative perspectives, and the incredible talent of fellow artists. I’m committed to growing, refining my skills, and never losing the curiosity that made me fall in love with makeup in the first place.

As I continue building Daylight. Makeup by Dailin, my dreams extend beyond the makeup chair. I hope to bring my artistry to runways, editorial productions, and the world of fashion while continuing to create meaningful experiences for every client who trusts me with their special moments.
